Summer Piano Camps at Windsor Piano School
This summer, give your child a focused, inspiring musical experience with two exceptional camps — a one-day intensive with internationally acclaimed pianist Andrei Pytaleu, and a two-day masterclass weekend with Edita, founder of Windsor Piano School and the Windsor International Piano Competition. If your child would rather keep a steady weekly routine through the holidays, our summer piano lessons in Windsor run alongside both camps.
One-Day Intensive Piano Camp
A full day of immersive piano work with an internationally recognised performer and teacher of 40 years' experience. Focused technique, personalised practice correction, and a proud end-of-day performance for parents.
Book Andrei's Camp — 28 AugTwo-Day Masterclass Weekend
A rare two-day opportunity to study with the founder of Windsor Piano School, whose students have won major international competitions — including a finalist of BBC Young Musician of the Year. Book a single day or both — two full days allows the deepest work and lasting results.
Book Edita's Camp — 15–16 AugWorld-Class Teaching
Both camps are led personally by musicians with international performing and conservatoire teaching careers — not assistants, not group supervisors.
Only 6 Places Per Camp
Deliberately tiny numbers mean every child receives genuine individual guidance throughout — a level of attention no holiday club can match.
Confidence Through Performing
Each camp ends with a parent showcase, giving the work a clear artistic goal and sending children home proud of what they achieved.
Why an Intensive Camp Works
A weekly lesson builds steadily — but an immersive camp day accelerates. Sustained concentration, real-time correction of practice habits, and the momentum of working towards a same-day performance often produce a leap in confidence and quality that stays with a student for the rest of the year.
How Each Camp Day Works
Every camp day is structured to balance deep concentration, individual progress, proper breaks, and performance preparation.
Camp Begins
Students arrive and begin their focused piano day with guided work and carefully directed practice.
Small-Group Intensive
A maximum of 6 children work individually under expert supervision in a supportive, purposeful setting.
Lunch Break
A proper pause to recharge before the final part of the day and performance preparation.
Parent Showcase
Students present what they have worked on, giving the day a clear artistic goal and a rewarding finish.
Edita's two-day camp follows this structure on both days, with the final showcase on Sunday 16 August.

Andrei Pytaleu
Rooted in a family of classical musicians, Andrei began his musical journey early and earned his place at the Secondary Specialised School of Music in Minsk before continuing to the Conservatoire in Minsk, where he graduated with a triple Master's degree in concert performance, instrumental and vocal accompaniment, and piano pedagogy.
Internationally recognised, he has appeared successfully at numerous jazz and music festivals across Russia, Belarus, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, and Switzerland. His professional experience also includes work as an accompanist at the National Opera House in Minsk, contributing to productions ranging from classical ballet to contemporary repertoire.
Since 1985, Andrei has taught students of varied ages and standards in both classical and jazz disciplines. His teaching combines discipline, musical imagination, and encouragement — helping students build strong skills while genuinely enjoying the learning process.
Camp Weekend • Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 August • One Day or Both
Edita
Born in Lithuania, Edita graduated with distinction from the Lithuanian State Conservatoire in Vilnius, where her excellence led first to a teaching post and later to a position as Professor of Piano in both solo performance and accompaniment. Her concerts and broadcasts across the former USSR established her reputation as a performer of exceptional skill.
Edita went on to serve as chief music specialist for the Department of Culture in Lithuania, directing major musical events and recitals, lecturing in piano at the Vilnius Pedagogical Institute, adjudicating competitions, and giving celebrated masterclasses across Europe. She has also taught as a Visiting Professor at conservatories in Ribera and Palermo, Sicily.
As founder of Windsor Piano School and the Windsor International Piano Competition, Edita has nurtured students who have triumphed in major competitions across the USA, Vienna, the UK, Russia, Croatia and beyond — including a finalist of the BBC Young Musician of the Year. This two-day camp is a rare chance to work intensively with a teacher of this calibre.
