World-Class Teaching

Both camps are led personally by musicians with international performing and conservatoire teaching careers — not assistants, not group supervisors.

Only 6 Places Per Camp

Deliberately tiny numbers mean every child receives genuine individual guidance throughout — a level of attention no holiday club can match.

Confidence Through Performing

Each camp ends with a parent showcase, giving the work a clear artistic goal and sending children home proud of what they achieved.

Why an Intensive Camp Works

A weekly lesson builds steadily — but an immersive camp day accelerates. Sustained concentration, real-time correction of practice habits, and the momentum of working towards a same-day performance often produce a leap in confidence and quality that stays with a student for the rest of the year.

How Each Camp Day Works

Every camp day is structured to balance deep concentration, individual progress, proper breaks, and performance preparation.

12:00 PM

Camp Begins

Students arrive and begin their focused piano day with guided work and carefully directed practice.

During the Day

Small-Group Intensive

A maximum of 6 children work individually under expert supervision in a supportive, purposeful setting.

3:00 – 3:30 PM

Lunch Break

A proper pause to recharge before the final part of the day and performance preparation.

6:00 PM

Parent Showcase

Students present what they have worked on, giving the day a clear artistic goal and a rewarding finish.

Edita's two-day camp follows this structure on both days, with the final showcase on Sunday 16 August.

Meet Your Expert Tutors

These camps are taught personally by two musicians of exceptional depth — decades of international performance, conservatoire teaching, and competition success.

Andrei Pytaleu

One-Day Camp • Friday 28 August

Andrei Pytaleu

Rooted in a family of classical musicians, Andrei began his musical journey early and earned his place at the Secondary Specialised School of Music in Minsk before continuing to the Conservatoire in Minsk, where he graduated with a triple Master's degree in concert performance, instrumental and vocal accompaniment, and piano pedagogy.

Internationally recognised, he has appeared successfully at numerous jazz and music festivals across Russia, Belarus, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, and Switzerland. His professional experience also includes work as an accompanist at the National Opera House in Minsk, contributing to productions ranging from classical ballet to contemporary repertoire.

Since 1985, Andrei has taught students of varied ages and standards in both classical and jazz disciplines. His teaching combines discipline, musical imagination, and encouragement — helping students build strong skills while genuinely enjoying the learning process.

Edita at the piano — Founder of Windsor Piano School

Camp Weekend • Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 August • One Day or Both

Edita

Born in Lithuania, Edita graduated with distinction from the Lithuanian State Conservatoire in Vilnius, where her excellence led first to a teaching post and later to a position as Professor of Piano in both solo performance and accompaniment. Her concerts and broadcasts across the former USSR established her reputation as a performer of exceptional skill.

Edita went on to serve as chief music specialist for the Department of Culture in Lithuania, directing major musical events and recitals, lecturing in piano at the Vilnius Pedagogical Institute, adjudicating competitions, and giving celebrated masterclasses across Europe. She has also taught as a Visiting Professor at conservatories in Ribera and Palermo, Sicily.

As founder of Windsor Piano School and the Windsor International Piano Competition, Edita has nurtured students who have triumphed in major competitions across the USA, Vienna, the UK, Russia, Croatia and beyond — including a finalist of the BBC Young Musician of the Year. This two-day camp is a rare chance to work intensively with a teacher of this calibre.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost of each camp?
Each camp day is £150. For Edita's camp weekend, you can book a single day (15 or 16 August) or both days. Full details and payment are on the booking form.
Which camp should I choose for my child?
Both camps suit children who are already learning piano. Andrei's one-day camp on 28 August is a powerful focused boost; Edita's two-day camp on 15–16 August allows deeper, more transformative work across a full weekend. Committed students are welcome to attend both. If you are unsure, complete either booking form and we will happily advise.
Can we book just one day of Edita's camp?
Yes — Edita's camp runs on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August, and you may book either a single day or both. Attending both days allows the deepest work, but one focused day is still hugely valuable. Simply select your preferred day(s) on the booking form.
How many children will attend?
Each camp is capped at just 6 students, so every child receives meaningful individual attention throughout.
What happens at the end of the camp?
Each camp finishes with a parent showcase at 6 PM — on the day itself for Andrei's camp, and on Sunday 16 August for Edita's two-day camp. Students present what they have worked on, giving the camp a clear artistic goal and a rewarding finish.
What should my child bring?
Please send your child with lunch, drinks, and any music they are currently studying or would like help with during the camp.
Why book early?
With only 6 places per camp, spaces go quickly once families begin summer planning — and camps with teachers of this standing rarely have places left close to the date. Early booking secures your child's place.
