Unleashing the Magic of Melody

Meet Alexandra Vilmányi, an accomplished piano and harpsichord instructor at Windsor Piano School, whose teaching career in classical and early music spans over a decade. Alexandra, a Guildhall School of Music and Drama alumnus, mastered harpsichord under Nicholas Parle after beginning her musical journey at the Liszt Ferenc Music College in Budapest, training in piano with András Kemenes.

In 2007, she enhanced her harpsichord skills at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy. Alexandra’s teaching career is marked by versatility, having instructed at Pikéthy Secondary School in Vác, Hungary, and Pécsi Sebestyén Music School in Budapest. Her experience encompasses both London and Budapest, enriching her teaching methods.

As a harpsichordist, Alexandra is noted for her performances with European orchestras and chamber groups, particularly in early music. Her role at Windsor Piano School is integral, as she uses her extensive experience to inspire and cultivate the talents of aspiring musicians. Alexandra’s dedication and expertise in both performance and education make her a valuable asset to our teaching faculty.
