BBC Young Musician

Both of the school's documented BBC Young Musician category finals were reached by one student, Harvey Lin, who started piano at seven with Edita Stankeviciute at Windsor Piano School. Eton College reported in May 2020 that he had studied with Edita at the school ever since. His published concert biographies also name Professor Dmitri Alexeev among his teachers.

Method

How Windsor Piano School reports results

Every result on this page carries one of four kinds of source, so readers can see what has been confirmed outside the school.

1

Independent source

Published by an organisation other than the school: a competition's own results, a school such as Eton College, or the press. Concert biographies published by orchestras and concert series are listed as such.

2

Windsor Piano School records

The school's own exam and student records, including the school-wide figures. These have not been independently audited.

3

Public school archive

Results the school published on its news page at the time, dated by publication.

4

Student or family confirmation

Results confirmed directly by the student or their family. None on this page currently rests on this alone.

Our rules. School-wide figures are never presented as piano-only figures. Achievements are credited to the school only for the period a student was learning here. This page is reviewed when new results are documented.
