An international piano educator
Edita Stankeviciute is a Lithuanian-born pianist and piano educator with more than 30 years of professional teaching experience. Her published professional biographies record higher-education piano teaching in Lithuania, at the Lithuanian State Conservatoire in Vilnius and the Vilnius Pedagogical Institute. She has six documented international jury years in Germany and the Netherlands between 2017 and 2024: the Euregio Piano Award in 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, and the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede in 2024. She has taught international masterclasses in the UK and Sicily.
In 2008 she founded Windsor Piano School, which she continues to lead as Principal. The school is an official ABRSM Private Visit Centre, and its piano department follows the written progression pathway she set. Separately, she founded and led the Windsor International Piano Competition over its documented 2015–2022 period, bringing an international jury and competitors to Windsor. Her student Harvey Lin reached the Keyboard Final of BBC Young Musician twice, in 2016 and 2020.

In 2020, aged 17 and a music scholar at Eton College, he reached the Keyboard Final again. Eton College's account of his 2020 final names Edita as his teacher.
