Early Achievements: Rooted in a family of classical musicians, Andrei Pytaleu blossomed early in his musical journey, securing a place at the esteemed Secondary Specialized School of Music in Minsk. His exceptional talent led him to the Conservatoire in Minsk, where he graduated with a triple Master’s degree, specializing in concert performance, instrumental and vocal accompaniment, and piano pedagogy.

International Acclaim: Internationally recognized, Andrei Pytaleu has triumphed in numerous Jazz & Music Festivals across Russia, Belarus, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, and Switzerland. His professional experience is further highlighted by his tenure as an accompanist at the National Opera House in Minsk, where he contributed to a variety of productions ranging from classical ballets to contemporary music pieces.

A Prolific Educator: Since 1985, Andrei Pytaleu has been imparting his extensive knowledge to students of diverse levels, showcasing his prowess in both classical and jazz disciplines. His role as Assistant Music Director at the Central College of Music in Minsk enabled him to guide and mentor emerging talents in various chamber ensembles.

A Legacy in Music Education: Now settled in the UK, Andrei continues his educational mission at St Christopher School, teaching piano, jazz improvisation, and music theory. His teaching philosophy is centered around fostering disciplined and descriptive skills in a stimulating and enjoyable manner, helping students to achieve their full artistic potential.
