David S. Gonzalez gained his Master’s diploma as a Classical guitarist in 2003 at the Conservatory of Music Victoria de los Angeles. Along with Classical guitar, he also studied a Double Bass with Nicolas Arroyo, Contemporary Music and Jazz Guitar with Felix Santos Guindel , Jazz Harmony and Improvisation with Chema Saiz in Alcala de Henares University, and Flamenco Guitar with Rafael Riqueni and Nono Garcia.
David participated in flamenco, jazz, blues, rock, soul, funk and RnB projects, performing and recording with international musicians such as “El Guille”, Pablo Ruben Maldonado, John Adeleye, David Jordan, Gak Jones, Vladimir Nunez (Orishas), David “El Indio” (Betusta Morla), Gautama del Río, Raimundo Amador, Wafir, Gloria Garcia, Natalia Vergara and Surianne.
David has been living in London since 2010, arranging music for different artists and performing in places such as Hyde Park, The Bedfort, The Troubadour and the Vortex Jazz Club.
David is delighted to have been offered a teaching position at Windsor Piano School as he also has a passion for teaching. He has been teaching privately since 2003, as well as at Gredos San Diego and Ciudad de Los Angeles Schools in Madrid. He thoroughly enjoys passing on his skills to eager guitar students.
