Alvaro Siculiana, pianist, was born in Parma (Italy) in 1988.
He started playing piano at the age of 11 and entered the conservatoire G.B.Martini of Bologna 2 years later, where he received a Postgraduate diploma under the tutelage of Stefano Orioli.
For the past years he has attended masterclasses and lessons held by internationally renowned pianists such as Sergei Senkov, Martino Tirimo, Douglas Finch, Denis Gelenbe, Andrea Lucchesini, Mauro Landi,Alicja Kledzik.
Alvaro is an active soloist and chamber musician and has performed in many venues around Italy and UK.
Supported by the Trinity College London Scholarship, he has successfully finished a MMUS in piano performance at Trinity Laban conservatoire of Music and Dance under the guidance of Simon Young.
Alvaro is also a passionate and successful teacher. In the last few years his pupils have entered the best conservatoires in Italy and have accomplished extraordinary results.
Alvaro believes the real aim of a teacher is to enable his pupils to get along without him, by creating a student-centred environment and encouraging their inquisitiveness.
