In Autumn 2015, 36 students of Windsor Piano School entered “Marlow Music Festival” achieving the following results:

In May 2015, one of our students, Harvey Lin age 12, entered Young Musician’s Competition, Reading, Berkshire, UK, winning 1st Prize and the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the RSO – (Reading Symphony Orchestra) in February 2016.

One of our students, Diana Franceva, has been invited to play at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music High Scorer’s Concert on 3rd October 2015. Diana scored 145 points out of 150 at her Grade 5 Piano exam.

In April 2015 one of our students entered The 9th EPTA International Competition for Young Pianists, Osijek, Croatia, and winning 3rd Prize.

He competed against pianists from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Serbia, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine.

In spring 2015, 28 students of Windsor Piano School entered “Woodley Music and Art Festival” achieving the following results:

And the following Special Achievement awards: Davy Trophy, Follett Trophy, Wokingham Times Senior Trophy, Barkham Trophy, Ronald Hughes Rose Bowl.

Our students won every single section they competed in.

In February 2015, two Windsor Piano School students participated in Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, winning two 1st Prizes and 2015 Best British Musician and 2015 Distinguished British Musician titles. Both students has been invited to perform in Final Concert. Albert Hall, London.

Arregi-Gardoki Cup, Stephenson Cup, Gilbertson Cup, Jessie Fraser Shield, £50 cash Prize for the most outstanding performance 11 years and under.

In May 2014 one of our students entered The Emanuel Trophy Competition, UK, winning 1st Prize and receiving £500 Cash Prize, a Challenge Trophy and the opportunity to give a recital in a central London venue.

Emanuel Trophy Competition is the Festival’s top competition and is one of the most prestigious competitions within the festival movement across UK.

In March 2014 one of our students entered The 5th International Chopin Piano Competition, Hartford, USA, winning 1st Prize.

He competed against pianists from Japan, China, Singapore, Australia and USA.

In spring 2014, 22 students of Windsor Piano School entered “Basingstoke Music and Art Festival” achieving the following results:

One of our students has been selected to represent North London Festival in one of the most prestigious Emanuel’s Trophy Piano Competition.

In August 2013 one of our students, Harvey Lin age 10, entered The 5th International Rosario Marciano Piano Competition, Vienna, winning 1st Prize, and receiving standing ovations from the public. He competed against pianists from Italy, Ukraine, Romania, Yugoslavia, Sweden, Japan and UK.

Young Pianist of the North: International Piano Competition 2012

In November 2012 one of our students, Harvey Lin age 9, entered The Young Pianist of the North International Piano Competition, winning 1st Prize. He competed against pianists from Italy, Czech Republic, Finland, Romania, Azerbaijan, Sweden, USA and UK.

2011 Awards

LANG LANG: MASSED PIANO DAY

One of our students has been picked out of 500+ of students to not only perform as part of the Orchestra with the world famous pianist, Lang Lang, but also as a soloist in the above concert, by him himself.

The performance will be at The Royal Festival Hall, London on 22nd May 2011.

In 2011 one of our students, Faye Evans, was selected out of 500+ auditions to perform in the orchestra for Lang Lang’s Massed Piano Day at The Royal Festival Hall. Not only this, but she was also personally selected by Lang Lang to be one of six soloists.

Some of Windsor Piano School students have been invited to perform at a concert at Norden Farm Arts Centre in Maidenhead on 16th October at 11am.

This is open to the public and will be an excellent example of the standards of our students.

Harvey Lin age 8, has got through to the second round of auditions for BBC’s Young Musician of the Year 2012. He is the youngest of all musicians ever to participate in this competition across the UK.

This was a fantastic achievement for the Windsor Piano School and the students alike as the studio has only been open for a year, it was the school’s first festival and the students were all beginners.
